1 Description

1.1 Product Description

This product is a dual-band gigabit Wi-Fi 6 outdoor AP specially designed for smart street lights, serving as the core wireless access terminal of the smart street light wireless network system. It is widely used in smart street poles, municipal roads, parks, communities, campuses and other outdoor scenarios, providing high-speed, stable and reliable wireless network access services for various terminal devices in public areas.

The device supports the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax standard, adopts dual-band dual-channel and four spatial stream technology, providing high access rates for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. It features an IP68 protection level fully sealed shell design, which can effectively resist harsh outdoor environments such as wind erosion, rain, humidity and extreme temperatures, and is highly adaptable to cold weather in northern China and humid weather in southern China. The device supports remote Ethernet power supply, and can be seamlessly integrated with smart street poles, greatly reducing installation and maintenance costs.

High-speed dual-band wireless: Supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band communication, with 574Mbps access rate for 2.4GHz band and 1201Mbps access rate for 5GHz band, and the total machine rate up to 1775Mbps, providing a fast and smooth wireless experience.

Flexible gigabit uplink: Equipped with one 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet uplink port and one gigabit SFP multiplex port, adapting to different wired network link forms, and the Ethernet port supports PoE power supply, making networking more flexible.

Dual working modes: Supports both AP mode and router mode, which can be used as a wireless router independently or form a wireless network by networking multiple devices, with flexible configuration and wide application scenarios.

5 Interface Definition & Wiring Instructions

5.1 Interface Function Definition

Ethernet Port (10/100/1000Base-T): Connect to the switch via network cable to realize wired network connection and data transmission; supports PoE power supply to provide working power for the device.

SFP Optical Port: 1000Base-X optical port, multiplexed with Ethernet port (optical port first), can be connected to optical module for optical fiber data transmission (optical module is optional).

System Status Indicator: Displays the working status of the device, facilitating on-site inspection and fault judgment.

Reset Button: Used to restore the device to factory settings, which can be operated when the device configuration is wrong or fails.

5.2 Wiring Notes

When using PoE power supply, ensure that the PoE power supply device meets the PoE+ standard to avoid insufficient power supply affecting the normal operation of the device.

When wiring the network cable and optical fiber, ensure that the connection is firm, and do a good job in waterproof and anti-corrosion treatment for outdoor wiring to avoid poor contact or signal interference.

The SFP optical port and Ethernet port are multiplexed, and the optical port is preferred. When using the optical port, ensure that the optical module is correctly installed and the optical fiber is connected in the correct direction.

Outdoor wiring must be fixed firmly, and the wiring terminals should be pressed tightly to avoid damage to the wiring caused by wind and rain, resulting in equipment failure.

During wiring, separate strong and weak electric wires to avoid electromagnetic interference affecting the wireless signal quality and data transmission stability.

Before power on, check the correctness of the wiring, especially the network cable connection and PoE power supply connection, to avoid equipment damage caused by wrong wiring.

6 Installation, Operation & Maintenance Requirements

The device supports wall-mounted installation and pole-mounted installation (vertical and horizontal poles). Before installation, select a suitable installation position to ensure that the wireless signal is not blocked and the installation surface has sufficient bearing capacity.

Use matching installation brackets and screws to fix the device firmly. Expansion bolts are not standard accessories and should be configured according to the on-site installation surface conditions.

During installation, do a good job in waterproof treatment of the interface to avoid water ingress into the device, which will cause short circuit and equipment damage.

Before power on, confirm that the wiring is correct, and then power on the device. After power on, check the system status indicator to confirm that the device is working normally.

Parameter configuration: The device can be configured through APP, cloud platform or eWeb. The default single-machine login address and password can be used for initial login, and the login information should be changed in time after login to ensure security.

Supports scenario-based configuration, which can quickly complete complex function configuration such as visitor isolation and export flow control according to actual needs.

During use, if the device fails (such as no wireless signal, network disconnection, abnormal indicator light), check the power supply, wiring and installation position first, and contact professional personnel for maintenance if the fault cannot be solved.

Regularly check the working status of the device, clean the surface dust and debris, and check the tightness of the wiring terminals and the waterproof condition of the interface to ensure stable operation of the device.

Avoid installing the device in areas with severe water accumulation, strong electromagnetic interference or direct sunlight for a long time, so as to extend the service life of the device.

Non-professional personnel are prohibited from disassembling the device or modifying internal parameters, so as to avoid equipment failure or safety hazards.
